CAMP RED CLOUD, South Korea — Area I commander Col. Larry Jackson will discuss off-post housing and housing benefits for servicemembers at town hall meetings in August.
The first meeting is scheduled for Aug. 6 from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Camp Red Cloud theater. The next meeting is Aug. 7, from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Camp Casey Hanson Field House.
All servicemembers in Area I are invited to attend.
Anti-terror exercises to close Red Cloud, Stanley base gatesCAMP RED CLOUD, South Korea — Gates at Camp Red Cloud will be closed to all traffic except base buses from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 7 during an anti-terrorism exercise.
Camp Stanley's gates will close from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 8 for a similar exercise.
South Korean workers without a force protection “Charlie” or “Delta” badge cannot leave their work space during those times, Area I officials said.
If South Korean workers walk out of their office — even for a smoke break — they will be escorted off post if caught, officials said.
