American Forces Network Europe on Sunday will air an MSNBC television special on troop care at military hospitals, including Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany.

AFN plans to show the hourlong program, “Wounds of War,” twice on its News channel, according to Ann Mulligan, director of broadcasting for AFN Europe. The air times are 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Central European Time.

Landstuhl is the primary, full-service hospital on this side of the Atlantic for servicemembers serving in Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as personnel stationed in Europe. Troops seriously injured in southwest Asia are typically sent to Landstuhl for treatment. The show, which airs Thursday in the States, focuses on the treatment of troops wounded downrange.
