CULPEPER, Va. — While the B-17, B-24 and B-29 bombers taking part in Friday's Arsenal of Democracy: World War II Victory Capitol Flyover were being shown at the larger Manassas, Va. airport on Thursday, the fighters and other smaller aircraft were on display a few miles away.
A large crowd gathered outside the Culpeper airport to watch World War II era planes from the Texas Flying Legends Museum and the Commemorative Air Force take-off and land.
