WIESBADEN, Germany — Army officials in Europe are urging Americans to exercise caution as some 100 members of the Young National Democrats, a neo-Nazi group, are expected to march from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday from Erbenheim to the main gate of Wiesbaden Army Airfield.

The group is protesting the U.S. military’s presence in Germany and the U.S. Army Europe headquarters pending move to Wiesbaden Army Airfield.

Left wing groups — likely the extremist group the "Autonomen" — are expected to hold a counter rally with up to 400 people, according to an e-mail sent out by U.S. Army Europe officials.

The rally coincides with the 65th anniversary of Germany’s defeat in World War II.

An advisory posted on USAG Wiesbaden’s website says demonstrations are also expected to take place at the city’s main train station, and violence is expected.

The Army airfield’s south gate will remain open Saturday, but the truck and north gate entrances will be closed.
