SEOUL — A team of chefs from the 8th Army took a gold medal and overall best award for the innovative cooking category at the Seoul International Tourism and Food Expo this week. A duck entrée was the group’s winning entry.

The group also won a silver medal in the expo’s catering event with a five-course meal and a silver in the cold food buffet category.

The chefs took top honors last month as best installation in the Army’s 30th Annual U.S. Army Culinary Arts Competition in Fort Lee, Va.
