SEOUL — A 19-year-old soldier died March 28 in Ramadi from noncombat-related injuries, according to a statement released this week from the Pentagon.

Pfc. Samuel S. Lee, of Anaheim, Calif., was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division, Camp Greaves, South Korea. His was the 53rd death among the 3,500 troops from Strike Force that deployed to Iraq from Korea late last summer.
