Here are some outdoor music festivals scheduled for this summer in Japan and Korea:

FUJI ROCK FESTIVALNiigata, July 28-30, at Naeba Ski Resort in Niigata Prefecture.

Tickets: Special Stage, 39,800 yen (3-day ticket), 16,800 yen (1-day ticket), 2,500 yen for camping, 2,000 yen for parking, Smash 03-3444-6751.

SUMMER SONICTokyo and Osaka, Aug. 12-13, at Chiba Marine Stadium and Mkauhari Messe in Tokyo and the WTC Open Air Stadium & Intex Osaka and Zepp Osaka in Osaka.

Tickets: ¥13,000 (one day), ¥24,000 (both days).

Onstage: Green Day, Avril Lavigne, Sum 41, Go-Go's, The Darkness, Mando Diao, Fountains of Wayne, All American Rejects, Peaches, Razorlight, 60's, Bloc Party, The Damned, Dirty Americans, Beastie Boys, N.E.R.D., Nas, The Music, Lostprophets, Jurassic 5, Hoobastank, The Hives, Phantom Planet, Kasabian, The Ordinary Boys, Ima Robot, My Chemical Romance.

PENTAPORT ROCK FESTIVALInchon City, July 28-30, Son Do Dae Woo Motors Field.

UDO MUSIC FESTIVAL 2006July 22-23 11 a.m.-9 p.m., Fuji Speedway, 16,000 yen (one-day ticket), 30,000 yen (two-day ticket), 2,000 yen for one-day parking, 4,000 yen for two-day parking, 5,000 yen for camp site, Udo 03-3402-5999.

Onstage: Santana, Jeff Beck, The Doobie Brothers, Ben Folds, The Pretenders, Social Distortion, Kiss, Alice in Chains, The Pussycatt Dolls, Godsmack.
