Held on the grounds of the World Expo, this year the site takes a look back at the first expo organized on this site sixty years ago through the lens of an exhibition of circa-1958 vehicles. Antique FairLocation: Novomestska Radnice (New Town City Hall), Prague, Czech Republic Dates: Nov. 15-18 This fair looks at the century that has passed since the formation of the Czech Republic by tracing the transformation of Czech design, illustrating how items were designed not just with utility but also a certain aesthetic in mind. A city whose name is associated with the product offers not only tasting of its revered treat, but other regional specialties and a busy cultural program. Real Ale WobbleLocation: Llanwrtyd Wells, Wales, UK Date: Nov. 17 (from 10 a.m.) The kickoff of the Mid Wales Beer Festival is marked by this non-competitive cycling event, which takes riders through 15 or 28 miles of pristine scenery. Guided routes offer two checkpoints en route at which beer tokens can be exchanged for locally brewed real ale or other beverages. Food and ale is also available at the finish point.
