Monte Morin ©Stars and StripesIraq, November, 2006: Soldiers with the 60th Engineering Company, attached to the 19th Engineer Battalion, remove debris from a roadside bomb crater before filling it with concrete along Highway One near Tikrit. If left unrepaired, the craters would not only be driving hazards for motor vehicles, but might provide hiding places for more explosives.
