Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, July 5, 2002: After assembling it once last week, then taking it down as Typhoon Rammasun blew past Okinawa, workers reassemble Kadena’s Fest Tent, where base residents and visitors would celebrate Independence day three days late. Bases on Okinawa were closed July 3 in anticipation of the typhoon and Kadena postponed its Independence Day festivities.
