South Vietnam, November, 1967: Navy Seabees fit together the pieces of a 210-by-24-foot timber bridge being built across a river on Route 1 between Phu Loc and Lang Co, in South Vietnam's coastal lowlands. The previous bridge had been destroyed by Viet Cong shelling, and attacks continued during the construction effort.
