Jonathan Cornett, during a welcome home event in Baumholder. Isaac’s shirt, along with his mom Elizabeth’s “Preggo” shirt, surprised dad with the news of a new baby on the way. Cornett, assigned to the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion 35th Armor Brigade, was deployed as part of Task Force 1-35 in Iraq. More than 3,400 solders from the 2nd Brigade were to return home over the next few weeks.
