Over the past year, Ukraine’s Association of Football has invested in local communities to establish teams, recognizing the growing number of war-wounded citizens as a result of the nearly three-year war.

“Pretty evenly-played game, penalties were pretty even, shots were pretty even. When it was all said and done, they found their way to a goal and we didn’t,” said Air Force hockey coach Frank Serratore.

All DODEA schools will be closed on Thursday in honor of former President Jimmy Carter.
