Is service accepted as credit toward a degree?CCU is one of the most generous schools when it comes to awarding credit based on experience and ACE recommendations (SMART transcripts, AARTS transcripts, etc.)

CCU also offers experiential credits for previous work experience and trainings. Most students are surprised to see how many credits they earn based on job/military experience alone.

Why does the school like military students?CCU likes military students because they are excited about an education that allows them the flexibility to move around when needed. Many students are sent to active duty and CCU allows them to take their course material with them. Military students are desirable because they are usually serious about their coursework and their grades. Military students are committed to graduating and it shows in their assignments. CCU is experienced in working with Tuition Assistance, and enjoys giving back to those who give so much for others.

What GI Bill/Tuition Assistance benefits are offered/available?CCU is TA/DANTES/VA approved, and military TA can cover up to 100% of each fully accredited degree program

Do you offer online degrees/distance learning programs?CCU's programs are all offered through online or distance learning . Students have the ability to learn at their own pace, as long as they complete the coursework by the end of the specified term date. We have no due dates on assignments or tests, and no group projects.

What programs/services are available specifically to military students? We offer a 10% discount on tuition to all Active, Retired, and Veterans, including their spouses and dependants.

What is your policy on involuntary activation for military service? We are fully aware of the needs of our troops. If an enrolled student has to leave on deployment, service members can continue to receive correspondence courses or complete their courses online. In the event that the student cannot finish the coursework in the 16 week period because of the nature of their duties, they can contact the TA/Finance department and a 60 day extension may be granted.
