Fans of live music can get their fill in downtown Kaiserslautern through Saturday by visiting the city’s annual Barbarossa-Fest “Swinging Lautern.”

Enjoy the sounds of jazz, swing, rock, blues and soul at stages set up at the Altenhof, Schillerplatz and Stiftsplatz. Marching bands will make their way through the pedestrian zone.

The cost of a button for 2 euros supports the event. Get one from the mobile sales team or the tourist office.

The musical program begins at 6 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Concerts end at about midnight on all three nights.
