La Route du Champagne en Fête takes place Saturday and Sunday in France’s Champagne region, where villages of la Côte des Bar offer performances, exhibitions, feasts — and a chance to sample some bubbly.

Expect festivities to have a truly local flavor, with champagne “caves” open to visitors. To sample the wares, buy a special-edition champagne flute for 15 euros.
