At Vienna’s Sound: Frame Festival, you can both hear and see the music.

One of the highlights of this year’s festival, which began last month and runs through April 26, is "Evolution Remixed!" — a series of audio-visual installations at the Wiener Künstlerhaus, the center of the event. The festival Web site describes the exhibition as "space-lunging sculpture" in which visitors can enter different club atmospheres created by large-screen panoramas, sculptures and theme-coordinated video stations.

Each weekend has a theme. April 10-12 focuses on audio-visual interaction in Vienna’s club scene, including performances and all-night dancing in the city’s hot spots. On April 17 and 18, a workshop looks at software and hardware usage. And April 24-25 closes with a cinema and screening program.
