Fans of Japanese anime won’t want to miss the European premiere of “Japan Anime Live,” a touring show that brings the stars of the Japanese scene — Naruto Shippuden, Fullmetal Alchemist, Bleach, One Piece and the Gundam Series — to the stage.

The 2½-hour production is a combination of special episodes on a giant screen, with live action, voices provided by local speakers, flamboyant effects and live music by Japanese artists. Organizers describe it as a “fast-paced pop opera that gives a third dimension to a world of fantasy and its heroes.”

Performance dates are Oct. 23 in Paris; Oct. 31 in Düsseldorf, Germany; Nov. 6 in Milan, Italy; Nov. 11 in Florence, Italy; and Nov. 13 in Rome. Tickets cost between 28.50 euros and 67 euros.
