SEOUL — Winter is on the way and with it comes fewer daylight hours, lower temperatures, road hazards, traffic congestion and periods of freezing precipitation.

To prepare, U.S. Forces Korea has launched a Winter Safety Campaign.

October through December, the first quarter of the fiscal year, traditionally has been the worst period for accidents and reportable safety-related matters, according to USFK.

The safety campaign runs through April 30 and focuses on:
