The first-ever USAFE Top Chef competition at Kapaun Air Station in Kaiserslautern will wrap up on Friday. Eight cooks from USAFE bases competed in the two-day event.

The contestants were given the same base ingredients for their dish, and could then select additional ingredients from the "community closet".The winner will receive a week-long Culinary Arts Institute course.
