NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. — Missiles, models and myriad other technologies filled the ballroom at Gaylord National Convention Center in National Harbor, Md., over the course of three days.

The Sea-Air-Space convention, held from April 7-9, highlighted mission-essential equipment and technologies for military sea services.

It extended into the harbor as well, where a Stiletto stealth ship glistened in the sun. Inside, drones and missiles were on display, mixed with United States Marine Corps combat gear and model ships. A 3D printer showed off plastic replicas of ships, and chemical beakers offered alternative energy resources.

Guests could walk through an Osprey V-22, or get a look inside an X47B drone — a real one, not a model. The largest Naval research companies and engineers had their best equipment and technology on exhibit. And if that wasn't enough, there were a few places where you could hop into a flight simulator.
