U.S. military bases around the world are celebrating America’s 250th birthday with fireworks displays and festivities for service members and their families.

The nation will mark its semiquincentennial on Saturday, July 4. Throughout the week, military communities are being brought together with celebrations commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence 250 years ago.
