Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey gave the all clear after suspicious packages were reported on the installation Tuesday.

Security forces and first responders immediately responded and secured the area after the installation was placed at Force Protection Charlie. It was determined that the packages posed no threat.

“We are grateful for the quick and professional actions of our first responders whose vigilance helps keep our community safe every day,” the installation said in a Facebook post.

Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst is the Defense Department’s only tri-service installation. It is home to five wings spanning 42,000 acres.
