Non-combat death of coalition servicemember reported in Iraq

A coalition servicemember supporting the campaign to defeat the Islamic State died Thursday from non-combat injuries, a coalition statement said.

The servicemember died in a vehicle accident in Iraq. No further details were available while the incident was under investigation, the statement said.

The servicemember's name and nationality were being withheld pending notification of next of kin and national authorities.
