A Germany-based soldier died at the scene of a traffic accident Thursday, according to a U.S. Army Europe news release.
The soldier, whose name was not released, was assigned to the 391st Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 16th Sustainment Brigade out of Bamberg. The accident occurred around 2:30 a.m., according to the release.
Military and German police are investigating the cause of the accident.
