WIESBADEN, Germany — A robotics summer day camp will take place Aug. 15-19 for Department of Defense Dependents Schools students who will be in the seventh to ninth grades next school year.

The camp will be held at the Wiesbaden High School Technology Lab from 8 a.m. to noon each day. Cost is $125 per student. Slots are limited, so organizers encourage early registration.

Kids will learn about teamwork and robotics programming while building a sumo wrestling robot and a tightrope-walking robot. There will be team competitions on the final day and parents are invited to attend.

To register, or to find out more details, email Frank Pendzich at frank.pendzich@eu.dodea.edu with the camper’s name; parent’s name, phone number and email address; student’s grade for the 2011-2012 school year and the name of the school the student is currently attending.
