RAF MILDENHALL, England — Personnel and dependents here took a break from work Thursday to relax with sports and games before taking a three-day weekend.

Marauder Melee featured competitors vying for a gold, silver or bronze medal. Other events included an obstacle course, basketball and dodge ball. It was the second year for the daylong event.

The afternoon brought activities for families. Free food, a bull ride and other carnival-style attractions were set up on Washington Square.

Individuals and teams also represented their units in competition to win the big prize of the day — the Marauder Melee Cup. This year, the 100th Civil Engineer Squadron took home the cup.
