KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany — A memorial service for Airman 1st Class Michael Hill, who died in a car accident, will be held Monday at the North Chapel starting at 9 a.m. on Ramstein Air Base.

Appropriate attire for the service is uniform of the day for military members and business casual for civilians.

Hill died in a car crash on May 8 near the village of Reichenbach-Steegen. He was assigned to the 786th Civil Engineer Squadron.

Hill is survived by his wife Emily, who is expecting the couple’s child, and his parents and a sister, according to information from Air Force officials at Ramstein.

Emily Hill has requested that instead of flowers, donations be made to a memorial fund in support of the couple’s child.
