The German-American Women’s Club of Heidelberg, Germany, will hold its annual Penny Bazaar fundraiser March 10-12 at the Internationale Gesamtschule, located behind Nachrichten Kaserne in Heidelberg.

Proceeds from the bazaar go to various charity projects in the American and German communities, said Karin Lister, president of the American chapter of the club.

The bazaar will be open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. the first day, a Thursday, then 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. the next day and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the final day. Food and drinks will be sold at the event.

The drop-off point for donations is at the school March 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and March 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Items such as paintings, porcelain, small electronics, dishes, home decorations, toys, books and CDs will be accepted for donation.

Clothing, magazines and school books will not be accepted this year, Lister said.
