Jumpitz, an award-winning children’s entertainment group, is headed to select bases in Portugal, Spain, Italy and Greece beginning Friday.

The quintet uses song and dance to encourage children to learn and to keep a positive attitude. The free shows are sponsored by Armed Forces Entertainment, the Defense Department agency that provides entertainment to U.S. military around the world.

Here is a schedule of the group’s upcoming shows:

• Friday, NATO Base Lisbon, Portugal, 5 p.m. at the base gym.

• Sunday, Naval Station Rota, Spain, 2:30 p.m., base fitness center.

• Tuesday, Moron Air Base, Spain, 2 p.m., elementary school.

• April 7, Ghedi Air Base, Italy, 5:30 p.m., Centurian Club.

• April 8, Aviano Air Base, Italy, 10 a.m., community center.

• April 10, Naval Support Activity Naples, Italy, 2 p.m., high school.

• April 12, NATO Base Larissa, Greece, 1 p.m., International School of Larissa.
