The Army has identified the soldier who died Sunday from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident the day before near Hohenfels, Germany.
The soldier, Sgt. 1st Class Chadwick Crawford, 33, was a senior maintenance observer-controller at the Hohenfels training area.
Military police, Army safety officials and German police are investigating.
‘Survivor’ veterans will be in SchweinfurtSCHWEINFURT, Germany — A German-American Friendship Night and Air Assault Survivor Bash, featuring three veterans of the “Survivor” television series, is scheduled Thursday night at Ledward Barracks in Schweinfurt.
The local band Push will entertain at the party, which will feature bar, pool and Foosball competitions as well as a sumo exhibition.
Guests will include Rudy Boesch, the “Survivor” all-star and former Navy SEAL; Linda Diaz-Twine, winner of “Survivor: Pearl Islands”; and Chris Daugherty, from “Survivor Nine: Vanuatu — Islands of Fire.”
The Schweinfurt-based 280th Base Support Battalion’s Morale, Welfare and Recreation agency is sponsoring the event, which will last from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Abrams Entertainment Center.
