YOKOSUKA NAVAL BASE, Japan — Three Okinawa establishments were recently placed off-limits to Defense Department personnel, 18th Wing officials confirmed Monday.

Bernard’s Garage in Okinawa City was placed on off-limits for unfair commercial practices. Stoner’s Den in Naha and Samurai in Okinawa City were also placed off-limits for selling substances prohibited to Defense Department personnel, according to a list published by the 18th Wing that now includes seven establishments.

Military personnel who visit an off-limits location can be punished under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Civilians in Okinawa under the status of forces agreement can be subject to adverse administrative action.
