1:10 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, Japan time: U.S. bases on Okinawa entered Tropical Cyclone Condition of Readiness All Clear at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, as Typhoon Saudel, still a Category 1-equivalent typhoon, continues hurtling northwest away from the island. This is the final report on Saudel.
