YOKOSUKA NAVAL BASE, Japan — Sailors considering post-military career options met prospective employers during a job fair Wednesday at the home of the 7th Fleet and Navy Region Japan.

Representatives from 20 companies and organizations — including Amazon, Navy Federal Credit Union, the Department of Veterans Affairs and the American Red Cross — gathered at Yokosuka’s Admiral Arleigh A. Burke Commissioned Officers’ Mess to scout for future hires. The servicemembers mingled with the employers, and some were even offered on-the-spot job interviews.
