Looking for some Halloween-related festivities this year? Ghosts and goblins don’t have to search very far as there are a variety of planned events and activities for U.S. military bases around the Pacific. Here are some fun ideas for this Halloween:

Japan bases

Yokota Air Base/Tama Hills Lodge

Trick-or-treating will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) members (age 18 or older) may escort up to five visitors. All visitors over the age of 16 must bring a photo ID. Entry to the base will be allowed only through the Fussa gate. Guests will not be allowed to bring vehicles on the base after 3 p.m. Japanese employees are also allowed to sponsor their spouse and up to three children between the ages of 4 and 12 from 5 to 9 p.m. Yokota residents not wanting to participate in trick-or-treating are advised to turn off their porch lights.

* Ghost and Goblins Costume Party will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Yokota Youth Center. Admission is $3 for members and $5 for nonmembers.

* Enlisted Club’s Halloween Party will take place at 9 p.m. Friday for adults only.

* Yokota Teen Center’s Costume Party will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $3, or free for club members.

* Tama Hills Lodge Halloween Party will take place from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday at the Hillcrest Lounge for Adults only. Admission is Free.

Camp Zama/Sagamihara Housing Area/Sagami Depot

Trick-or-treating will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. SOFA members (age 18 or older) may escort up to five visitors. SOFA members wishing to bring guests onto base are asked to provide USAGJ Form 1529 upon arrival at the gate to minimize processing time at the gate.

* Camp Zama Community Club’s Halloween Party will take place at 9 p.m. Friday at the Firelite Lounge.

* Sagami Housing Area Commissary’s Halloween Bash will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Sunday. There will be a costume contest along with free food and candy.

Camp Fuji

* Halloween Bash and Costume Contest will take place at 7 p.m. Friday at the Camp Fuji Roadhouse.

Misawa Air Base

Trick-or-treating will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday for SOFA members and their guests.

* Halloween Ball will take place from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday at the Mutsu Ballroom for adults only. Admission is $5, or free for club members.

* Costume Ball will take place from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday at the Wakasa Teen Center.

* Mummy Wrapping Contest will take place at 3:15 p.m. and Candy Bingo at 5 p.m. on Monday at Lunney Youth Center.

* Misawa Club’s Halloween Kiddie Disco will take place at 5 p.m. Sunday at the Tohoku Ballroom. Admission is $8 for club members; $9 for non members; $6 for children ages 4-15 and free for children 3 and under.

Yokosuka Naval Base/New Sanno hotel

Trick-or-treating will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday in the housing area.

* Halloween Carnival will take place from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Purdy Fitness Center. The costume contest begins at 7:30 p.m.

* Good or Evil Halloween party will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday at Sharkey’s Bar in Club Alliance. There will be a hot wing eating contest, costume contest and a fear factor contest.

* Fear Factor Eating Contest will take place at 7 p.m. Monday at the Spectrum Center.

* Monster Mash Costume Party will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday at the CPO Club.

* Halloween Sunday Brunch will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the New Sanno. Admission is $25.95 for adults and $12.95 for children. Costume Contest for brunch guests ages 4-12 begins at 10:30 a.m. All participants have to be present prior to 10 a.m. Registration for the costume contest available until 5 p.m. Thursday.

Naval Air Facility Atsugi

Trick-or-treating will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday. SOFA-sponsored residents can invite up to four adults who can each bring a maximum of three guests (maximum of 15 sponsored guests).

* Commissary Trick or Treat Outreach Event will take place from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the commissary parking lot. There will be a bouncy house, candy, food and drinks.

* Haunted Trail will take place from sundown to 10 p.m. Friday thru Sunday. Trail meet-up at the Navy College. A fee of $5 for adults and $2 for children. Stable shoes are required.

* Seabee Haunted Hotel will take place from 6:30 to10 p.m. Thursday through Monday at the Old Navy Lodge Building 987.

Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni

Trick-or-treating will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday. SOFA-sponsored residents can invite up to 10 guests per family. The Freedom Bridge and Monzen Gate will be closed to all vehicular traffic during trick-or-treating hours. Office spaces and barracks are off limits for trick-or-treating. Residents not wanting to participate are advised to turn off their porch lights.

* Night of Fright/Boo Rah!!! will take place from 6 p.m. to midnight Monday at the Marine Lounge. Free snacks, refreshments, games and treats. Open to all single and unaccompanied servicemembers.

* Children’s Halloween on the Green will take place from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at Torii Pines Golf course. There will be a costume contest, inflatable amusements, cadaver cake and other fun foods.

Sasebo Naval Base

Trick-or-treating will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hario and main base housing areas. All SOFA-sponsored residents are permitted to invite guests per the normal guest policy.

* Running Scared-Zombie Stomp will take place from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday. Event will begin at the Hario Fitness Center and includes a costume contest in front of the Hario Home Store at 4:30 p.m.

* Main Base and Hario Child Development Center Costume Parade will take place at 9:30 a.m. Friday.

* Hario Pre-teen and Teen Center Halloween Party will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday.

* Kids Fun Day will take place at 2 p.m. Friday at the Navy Lodge.

* Main Base Pre-teen and Teen Center Halloween Party will take place from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Monday.

Okinawa bases

Kadena Air Base

Trick-or-treating will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday throughout base housing.

The 733rd Air Mobility Squadron will provide a free X-ray screening of all Halloween candy from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Monday at the AMC Passenger Terminal, Building 3409.

* CEG ‘Slaughter House’ fundraiser will take place from 7 p.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday and 7-10 p.m. Sunday and Monday at Building 1408. Parking is available at Ryukyu Middle School for $5 or 500 yen. No children under five years of age.

* Kadena ITT’s Haunted Sites Tour will take place from 7 to 11 p.m. Oct. 26-31, Nov. 4-5.

* Okuma Halloween Village will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday.

* Halloween Family Cosmic Bowling will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Kadena Bowling Complex.

Camp Foster

Trick-or-treating will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Camp Foster. SOFA personnel only. Individual units and multiplexes will leave their external light on if they are participating. Tower units should post a homemade flyer for their door to indicate whether or not they are participating. There will be no open base policy or group passes issued for the local community.

* 6th Annual Foster Fright Night will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday outside of Gunner’s Fitness Center. Foster Fright Night includes a haunted house, a bouncy house and games, entertainment, and food sales.

* Trunk-or-treat will take place from Oct. 29 outside building 5965.

* Halloween Costume contest will take place at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Ocean Breeze. The event will be open to the local community. Local community members will be required to park in the Lot 58/Flea Market Gate on Highway 58.

Camp Lester

Trick-or-treating will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday.

* Halloween Costume contest will take place from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday at the Corpsman’s Cove.

Camp Hansen

* Halloween BooBash will take place from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday at the Palms Club. There will be games, prize giveaways, music and finger foods.

Camp Courtney/McTureous

Trick-or-treating will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday for both Camp Courtney and Camp McTureous.

* Halloween family night will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Tengan Castle restaurant.

* Halloween Party will take place from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday at the SNCO Club. There will be free food, a costume contest and a DJ.

* Legends Halloween Masquerade will take place from 6 to 11 p.m. Friday at the Legends Officers’ Club.

* The Bayview Club Halloween party will take place from 9 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Saturday. The party will features a costume contest, DJ and the Corridor of Horror.

Camp Schwab

* Heroes of Halloween party will take place from 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday at the Beachhead. There will be a DJ Hero 3 contest at the event.

Camp Kinser

Trick-or-treating will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday for SOFA personnel and their guests.

* Halloween costume contest will take place from 10:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday at the Surfside.

Korea bases

USAG Humphreys

Trick-or-treating will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday. All visitors must be invited guests of SOFA personnel and must be escorted at all times. Humphreys residents not wanting to participate in trick-or-treat activities should turn off their porch lights.

* USO Halloween party will take place from 8 p.m. to midnight Friday at Tommy D’s. The event is for adults only.

* Return to Spooky Hallow will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Zoeckler Field. There will be a haunted house and a pumpkin decorating contest.

Camp Walker/Camp George

Trick-or-treating will take place from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday. SOFA personnel may sponsor six visitors each and must escort them at all times. Residents not wanting to participate are advised to turn off their porch lights on Saturday.

Camp Red Cloud

* Trunk-or-Treat will take place from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the FMWR Building S-16 parking lot. Decorate the trunks of your vehicle in a Halloween theme and possibly win prizes.

* Spooktacular Bowling will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the CRC Lanes.

Camp Casey

* BOSS Haunted Barracks at Camp Mobile, visit the Haunted Barracks Thursday through Saturday at Building 666.

* Trunk or Treat will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at the Gateway Club parking lot. Decorate the trunks of your vehicle in a Halloween theme and possibly win prizes.

* Adult Disco Costume Party will be held at 9 p.m. Friday at the Warrior’s Club.

Hannam Village/Yongsan on-post housing

Trick-or-treating will take place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday. SOFA personnel may sponsor six visitors each and must escort them at all times. Residents not wanting to participate in trick-or-treat activities are advised to turn off their porch lights on Saturday.

* Spook-N-Bowl at the Yongsan Lanes Saturday. Children times will be from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. Adult times will be from 9:30 p.m to midnight.

* Halloween Costume Party will be held from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday at the R&R Bar and Grill. Door prizes will be available for the funniest, scariest and best costume.

Osan Air Base

* Trick or Treat and Haunted Trail will be held 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Monday along Building 916, 928, 936 and 937. There will be free candy and scary entertainment available.

* Children’s Costume Contest held in conjunction with the Officers’ Club Kids Membership Night will be held from 5:45 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Officers’ Club. Costume contest is free. Kids membership night for members is $8.95 and $10.95 for nonmembers. Children under 15 eat free.

* Adult Costume Contest 7-8 p.m. Monday at the Officers’ Club. The Adult Costume Contest immediately follows the Children’s Costume contest.

Kunsan Air Base

* Halloween Howl party will be held from 8:30 p.m. to midnight Friday at the Loring. The event includes prizes for best costume and free food.
