Navy building gas station on Guam

TOKYO – The Navy is building a $6.6 million gas station and minimart on Naval Base Guam, according to a news release from the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Marianas.
The design and construction contract was awarded July 13 to P&S Construction, Inc., of Lowell, Mass. The work is expected to be done by December 2011.
The gas station will have at least six double-sided fuel islands dispensing three grades of gasoline and diesel. The station will also have a tire refill area, vacuuming stations and a propane tank refilling station.
