Human remains found at Okinawa’s Camp Foster

CAMP FOSTER, Okinawa — Human remains were discovered Wednesday afternoon on Camp Foster, according to a news release from the base public affairs office.
The identity and cause of death are unknown at this time, the release said.
The Naval Criminal Investigative Service is leading the investigation.
Local authorities have been notified, the release said.
