TOKYO — Career educator Carl Albrecht has been selected to serve as assistant superintendent for transition with the DODEA-Korea school district, according to a Department of Defense Education Activity news release.
Albrecht, who is currently deployed to Afghanistan as part of the NATO Training Mission-Afghanistan, will work with U.S. military and Korean officials to manage DODEA’s education operations on the peninsula, the release stated.
“Carl brings an impressive depth of professional expertise to the table,” DODEA-Pacific Director Diana Ohman was quoted in the release. “His many years of working with our military partners to ensure school success and his proven ability to effectively manage complex issues will make a real difference for students and their families.”
