YOKOSUKA NAVAL BASE, Japan — Rear Adm. Scott Jones took command of the Sasebo-based Amphibious Force Seventh Fleet on Friday on Okinawa, according to a Navy news release.

Jones arrives after a tour as director of the Coalition Naval Advisory Training Team in Umm Qasr, Iraq.

Jones took command from Rear Adm. Richard Landolt, who will head to Washington D.C. while awaiting his next assignment, according to the news release.
