U.S. forces struck a vessel in the Caribbean Sea Saturday, killing four people, according to U.S. Southern Command.
The command said “confirmed intelligence” showed that the vessel was involved in narco-trafficking.
“Under the direction of U.S. Southern Command, Joint Task Force Western Hemisphere executed a lethal, kinetic strike on a go-fast vessel operating along established narco-trafficking routes in the Caribbean,” SOUTHCOM said in a news release.
The announcement was accompanied by a 7-second video showing the strike.
