Preschoolers who are developing green thumbs in the Vicenza Elementary School garden got a big assist from a Boy Scout with a heart of gold.

Marc Villarreal was relieved of his duties as principal of the school, which is on a base that is part of U.S. Army Garrison Italy, according to a DODEA statement.
