YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan — Yokota’s Team B captured the Kanto Plain Interservice Travel Bowling League championship for the second straight year, outdistancing Yokosuka Naval Base and Yokota’s Team A.

Jeannie Jones, Melanie McDonald, Christopher McDonald, Carlos Jones and Russell King Jr. amassed 391 points during the season, followed by Yokosuka (361) and Yokota A (280).

The teams competed at each Kanto Plain base throughout the winter and spring, with the final round held at Yokota’s Tomodachi Lanes on May 15.

Singled out for individual achievement were Pok Carroll of Yokota A for season high scratch game for women, Christopher McDonald for the men’s season high series, and Jones and Melanie McDonald for finishing with season-high averages among men and women.
