Wiesbaden’s Bryce Lee hit a three-pointer at the buzzer Saturday to give the Warriors a 48-46 victory, the Division I regular-season crown and the top seed in this week’s D-I championship tournament.

Lee’s shot capped a 14-6 fourth-quarter rally that gave the Warriors (10-4) a 6-0 conference record.

David Bradford led the Warriors with 13 points. Lee finished with 11 and Marcus Lewis had 8.

Visiting Würzburg (11-2, 5-1) was led by Dominick Lee’s 21 points and 10 rebounds and SooSoo Taulelie’s 10 points and 12 rebounds. Donald Bryant also had 10 points for the Wolves.

On Friday night, Kaiserslautern defeated Heidelberg 56-50 to claim the No. 3 seed in the Division I tournament.

In the only other conference race undecided entering the final weekend of the boys basketball season, Bamberg swept Giessen 61-57 and 61-49 at Bamberg to finish its Division III-South season 6-2 and tied for first with Baumholder.

Carlos Zapata had 20 points and 12 rebounds Friday, and 21 points and 12 rebounds Saturday to lead Bamberg.

Giessen’s Tim Battle and Kevin Brusch each scored 16 points on Friday, and Kevin Dupont had 13 on Saturday.

All the girls conference races were determined last week.
