RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany — Eighteen runners have been selected to represent USAFE at next month’s U.S. Air Force Marathon at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, said USAFE sports director Tom Burkett.

Ten of the 18 are based in Germany. Jessica Cummins, Donnie Gray, Micah Larsh, Joshua Rapp, Karen Thomas and Vanessa Varoskovic will represent Ramstein at the meet. The other Germany-based selections are Eugene Mittuch and Matthew Reagan of Geilenkirchen, Timothy Klopfer of Stuttgart and Christopher Papa of Mainz-Kastel.

U.K.-based entrants, according to Burkett, are Thomas Good and Fermon Reid of Lakenheath, Elizabeth Richards of Alconbury and Trasy Rincan of Mildenhall. Joseph Carter and Guadalupe Vasquez of Aviano, Jessica Piggott of Naples and Kurtis Fisher of Incirlik round out the team.

The 12th annual Air Force Marathon is scheduled for Sept. 20.
