CAMP FOSTER, Okinawa — Two Okinawa-based Marines have been selected to attend All-Marine tryout camps in their respective sports later this month in California, Marine Corps Community Services Okinawa Semper Fit Athletics officials said Monday.

Timothy A. Manson, a master sergeant assigned to Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, will attend the All-Marine golf tryout camp scheduled for July 29-Aug. 4 at Miramar Air Station. Amanda McGhee, a lance corporal stationed at Camp Kinser, was tabbed for the All-Marine women’s softball tryout camp July 29-Aug. 19 at Twentynine Palms.

They’ll each vie for berths on their respective All-Marine teams competing in All-Armed Forces championships, golf scheduled for Aug. 5-11 at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif., and women’s softball slated for Aug. 20-25 at Hill Air Force Base, Utah.
