The Heidelberg Tennis Center in Patrick Henry Village will play host to the U.S. Forces-Europe tennis championships July 22-24.

All U.S. ID-cardholders are eligible for the no-fee event, but they must be on a roster signed by their Area Support Group sports coordinator or their service’s sports director.

Deadline for faxing the roster to the Installation Management Agency-Europe sports programmer (DSN 370-3984 or German civ. 06221-57-3984) is July 20.

Competition in the clay-court event will be conducted in three age categories for each sex. Open doubles and mixed doubles also are on the schedule, but players are limited to entering one of the doubles events.

Mannheim to host powerlifting meet July 23

All U.S. ID-cardholders are invited to participate in a powerlifting meet for men and women scheduled for July 23 at Sullivan Barracks in Mannheim.

There is a $5 entry fee.
