YONGSAN GARRISON, South Korea – Ty White continued his torrid rushing pace on Friday, and Seoul American continued its march to its first DODDS Korea football title in three seasons.

White ran 12 times for 146 yards, including two touchdowns, and Harold Martin passed for two more scores as the Falcons clinched at least a tie for their first DODDS Korea title since 2008, beating Osan American for the second time this season, 34-0, at Seoul American’s Sims Field.

“We’re trying to be more competitive,” said coach Rydell Wilkins of the Falcons (4-2 overall, 3-0 league). “We’re doing better, but we still have a lot to work on. We still made mistakes, started out flat, but it was a good overall performance on offense and defense.”

White bumped his Korea-leading rushing total to 611 yards and five touchdowns on 95 carries.

Alex McDonald added 39 yards on eight carries plus a touchdown and Josh Castro 64 yards on nine carries. Martin went 3-for-5 passing for 65 yards and was intercepted once.

The Cougars (0-4, 0-3) were done in by Seoul American’s dominance in the trenches, Osan coach Aaron Mundy said.

“We have a young offensive line, averaging 155 (pounds) across. They played as hard as they could, but they were physically overwhelmed,” Mundy said.

The Falcons have a bye prior to their regular-season finale on Oct. 21 at Daegu American (1-3, 1-1). Osan American needs a victory by 27 points or more on Friday at home against Daegu to earn host rights to the Far East Division II title game on Nov. 5.
