Robby Rheinhart, who coached the Nile C. Kinnick wrestling team for two seasons earlier this decade and most recently taught at Jeffersonville (Ind.) High, died of a heart attack early Wednesday, Jeffersonville school officials said. He was 34.

Rheinhart, who also taught math, coached from 2003 to 2005. His Red Devils wrestling team won a Kanto Plain Association of Secondary Schools title and narrowly missed out on the individual freestyle and dual-meet team titles in the 2005 Far East tournament, losing on a tiebreaker to Kubasaki in the latter.

He left Kinnick after the 2005 school year for New Albany, Ind., where he coached wrestling and cross country for Jeffersonville. By coincidence, Jeffersonville’s mascot is also the Red Devils.

A funeral was scheduled for Saturday at New Albany’s Northside Christian Church, with burial at Graceland Christian Cemetary in Rheinhart’s hometown of Charleston, W.Va.
