The Ramstein women and the Spangdahlem men claimed their third straight USAFE soccer crowns with victories Saturday at Camp Darby, Italy.
The Lady Rams beat Incirlik 1-0 on an overtime penalty kick, while Spangdahlem rolled past Aviano 5-1.
Ramstein midfielder Amber Reynolds scored the only goal in the women’s game after being tripped in the box with two minutes left in the second overtime.
In the men’s game, Spangdahlem jumped out to a 3-0 halftime lead and never looked back.
Both men’s finalists advance to the Army-Air Force Final Four this Saturday and Sunday at Camp Darby against Army-Europe champion Kitzingen and runner-up Stuttgart. The Army does not field women’s teams.
