KUTNO, Poland — The Ramstein, Germany Little League team lost 8-0 Wednesday night to Arabian-American in the championship game of the European Regional Tournament’s Trans-Atlantic playoffs.

Arabian-American, which has won nine of the past 10 Trans-Atlantic titles, advances to the Little League World Series Aug. 15-24 in Williamsport, Pa.

Arabian-American right-hander Tommy Timoney threw a two-hit shutout, striking out eight and walking two. It was the second two-hitter that Timoney threw against Ramstein in the playoffs.

Ramstein had advanced to the title game by coming back from a 4-1 deficit Tuesday to beat SHAPE and Belgium 5-4 in the semifinals.
